YALSA's Young Adult Literature Symposium

Registration now open! Join YALSA for the Young Adult Literature Symposium, Nov. 5-7, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Albuquerque Marriott in Uptown Albuquerque.

Librarians and educators will attend educational sessions and paper presentations on the dynamic and growing field of young adult literature and enjoy special events and one-on-one interactions with popular young adult authors. YALSA will also offer special events on Friday, which will require additional registration. The symposium is sponsored in part by the William C. Morris Endowment. The 2010 theme is Diversity, Literature and Teens: Beyond Good Intentions.

  • Registration now open! Register by September 10 to take advantage of early bird pricing! Early bird registration begins at $195 for YALSA members or New Mexico Library Association members.
  • Housing is now open! Symposium attendees will have a special rate of $99 for a single or double at the Albuquerque Marriot.  
  • All symposium attendees will receive a certificate showing the number of continuing education contact hours they earned by attending the symposium.
