The editors of the Preservation Education Directory have no control over the Web sites to which this publication links, but every attempt will be made to keep the links current and working. The entries include as much information about each school as possible, including address and contact information and course descriptions whenever available, with the option to follow the link to the school’s Web site to get further information.

The information in this directory was supplied by the library schools and other organizations listed, as well as gathered from Web sites. The data was collected by several methods: mail survey form, e-mail survey form, online survey form, and in some cases, following up with telephone calls. Not all the information supplied was complete, which required additional research and editing. Therefore, there are some unavoidable inconsistencies in the style of language used in course descriptions and the details in some of the entries. For example, not all of the listed courses indicate the frequency offered, the number of credits, or whether they are required for graduation. Institutions or organizations listed in the previous directory that did not respond to any of our requests for updated information were removed from the publication.
