Sex Scenes Added to Kids' Videos

Four families who borrowed videos from the family section of the Findlay-Hancock County (Ohio) Public Library during the first week of January have reported that footage of people having sex appears after the credits of Bugs Bunny's Wacky Adventures, Bugs Bunny's Mad World of Television, Alice in Wonderland, and Send Me No Flowers.

Director Sybil Galer warned parents to monitor the FHCPL videos their children watch, the Associated Press reported January 9. Galer added that employees have volunteered "to take armloads [of videos] home with them at night to review." FHCPL checks out about 1,000 of its 18,000 videotapes every day.

Library officials are unable to offer any circulation clues to city police since the computer system deletes borrowers' names after materials are returned.
